Summer Camp is an intimate and inspiring event unlike anything else in the UK.

It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors whilst staying in one of the most beautiful places in the country. It’s your chance to escape from everyday life.

Masterclasses in open fire cooking, photography, yoga, business, fermentation, butchery, baking, natural dyeing, growing, foraging, beekeeping and more.

Amateurs, novices, experts and on-lookers are warmly invited.

All set within the bucolic surroundings of Hawarden Castle’s Victorian Walled Garden.

BEEKEEPER’S HUT

This custom-built hut is perched at the highest point in The Walled Garden of Hawarden Estate, with idyllic views across the working garden and the 18th Century Hawarden Castle beyond.

During your stay you’ll have the full run of The Walled Garden. There’s a spectacular outdoor kitchen, a Swedish wood-fired hot tub, a covered area with good chairs and a fire pit, a sauna, ancient fruit trees and endless space to relax.

GARDENER’S HOUSE

This elegant Georgian home, with its simple but refined garden, has been the home to generations of head gardeners and -indeed- artists.

It has now been completely refurbished to the highest standard, while retaining a strong connection to those gardeners and artists. Gardener's House can accommodate parties of 5 or 9.
